Positive Student Behavior System
We want to ensure children know how to be successful, and we want them to learn in a safe and healthy environment. This will be achieved through the adoption of the Positive Behavior Intervention & Supports (PBIS); a consistent school-wide positive support and discipline plan. This will include: teaching school rules and social-emotional skills; reinforcing appropriate student behavior; using effective classroom management and positive behavior support strategies; providing early intervention for misconduct and using appropriate consequences.

All behaviors that people engage in can fall under these three categories. We will be refining these rules over the course of the year as students learn appropriate behaviors for school. Continue to look for more information on PBIS each month.
